The Timbers

We use dimensional timbers that can be locally sourced, or ordered from several areas of the country. Species ranging from white pine, douglas fir, white oak, red oak or even cedar. The timbers can be installed as “rough sawn”, which is with exposed sawblade marks, giving a “rough finished look". Or they can be installed “S4S” for a clean finished look. The timbers are “cut” green, meaning that still have a higher moisture content, and will age a bit after installation creating a very honest and individual look with loads of character.

We also work with reclaimed barnwood, or any type of existing timber frame, or renovation project! Let’s get creative!
